The effects of Bullying and Harassment in the workplace are harmful to all involved and can lead to increased levels of absence and staff turnover as well as reduced productivity and staff morale. This training session is designed to help you to tackle the problem.

The training will cover practical issues such as the distinction between strong management and bullying; preventing harassment within the workplace and how to develop an effective policy as well as dealing with incidents.

This 4 hour session is suitable for line managers, supervisors and those involved in dealing with personnel related issues.

Delivering Powerful Presentations

This three-day workshop will equip delegates with the skills to become far more effective presenters and facilitators. 

You will learn presentation skills, concepts, and principles through a number of focussed, interactive class discussions, and practical hands-on activity-based learning exercises.

Introduction to Management Programme (3 Day)

This three-day, intensive course has been specifically designed for those moving into their first management position and aims to provide them with the knowledge and confidence to become successful first line Managers. With its practical and pragmatic approach, it will provide an understanding of the role and responsibilities of a manager together with a solid foundation of the key skills and underlying knowledge necessary to manage people effectively.

The programme will start with defining the role and responsibilities of the manager and will consider the common problems faced when moving into this role. Self-management principles are reviewed to ensure delegates can be effective in their new position.

Throughout the programme the core management skills are used as the focus of the delivery, these include motivation, delegation, giving feedback, counselling, recruitment procedures, problem solving, developing staff, discipline, dealing with difficult staffing issues, keys to effective meetings, supervision, appraisal and performance reviews. A wide variation of interactive training activities are used to ensure each delegate gets the most from the course to ensure they are ready to embark on their new career path.

There will be the requirement for each delegate to spend some time outside of the sessions reviewing their practice, policies & procedures with the purpose that they leave the programme with the skills, knowledge & practical tools to enable them to succeed and implement the appropriate practices for their workplace.
